APBF held its National Board & Lahore Board Meeting and arrange a Farewell Dinner for Mr. Robert C. Newsome – the outgoing Political & Economic Chief US Consulate, Lahore and welcome to Ms. Ann Mason – New Political & Economic Chief US Consulate July 25, 2016

National Board meeting was held at the Lahore Gymkhana Club along with a Farewell Dinner to Mr. Robert C. Newsome – the outgoing Political & Economic Chief US Consulate, Lahore and welcome to Ms. Ann Mason – New Political & Economic Chief US Consulate, Lahore. Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi President APBF appreciated the efforts of Mr. Robert C. Newsome for building strong economic ties & bilateral trade relationships between Pakistan & the United States. Mr. Maaz Mahmood Secretary-General APBF & Vice President BOM Sundar Industrial Estate said that Mr. Robert is a great friend of Pakistan & has done a great job in his one-year tenure in Pakistan. APBF National Board Members applauded his efforts and wished him all the best for his future endeavors. Mr. Robert mentioned that APBF has always highlighted challenges with its solutions and categorically praised APBF for holding two conferences in the recent past re Peace and Ease of Doing Business In Pakistan. Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi welcomed Ms. Ann Mason and assured her of APBF’s great support in her assignment to bring Pakistan & United States business community closer while increasing the trade and business opportunities. APBF National Board Meeting was chaired by President APBF Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi, also present Mr. Maaz Mahmood Secretary APBF, National Board Members Mr. Muhammad Asif Ali Tipoo ( President BOM Sundar Industrial Estate ), Mr. Tahir Malik President Lahore Board, Mr. Khurram Niaz Khan, Mr. Mian Safdar Hussain, Mr. Nadeem Ahmad, Mr. Mohsin Jawa, Mr. Asif Rafiq Rajwana, Mr. Omer Aziz, Mr. Herbert Camet Principal Kingston School, and College, Dr. Nazish, Dr. Adnan Bashir and Ms. Dania Qazi. New APBF Board Members were introduced, also discussed the APBF & GIZ TVET Reform Support Program. National Board was briefed about APBF’s next quarter year activity plan and it was approved. APBF will have a dinner with Ambassadors & Foreign Diplomats in Islamabad in the next couple of months to increase bilateral trade between Pakistan & their respective countries
