APBF Board meeting was held to discuss various APBF initiatives, to review ongoing activities and planning of future projects. APBF President Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood welcomed the esteemed APBF Members and briefed APBF Board members about the recent activities & feedback on ‘Hungary Pakistan Trade & Economic Window” and meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Excellency Shah Mahmood Qureshi appreciated the efforts of APBF & said that initiative of #hptew is a historical way forward and Pakistan & Hungary will see tremendous results in coming times. Ambassador of Pakistan to Hungary H.E. Mohemmed Aejaz joined the meeting through Zoom and appreciated APBF at the successful launch of ‘Hungary Pakistan Trade & Economic Window”. Excellency said we found APBF a very professional, dedicated, and serious business forum. #hptew is helping the business community by B2B match making to increase the bilateral trade. Further he said that in Hungary and Pakistan there are a lot of potential to collaborate in different sectors specially in agriculture sector. He urged APBF members to take initiate to bring up some projects in these fields. APBF President Syed Maaz Mahmood applauded great efforts of H. E. Shah Mahmood Qurreshi for his smart and visionary leadership at our diplomatic front while giving a vision of trade through diplomacy. He also acknowledged the diligent work done by H. E. Aejaz being Ambasador of Pakistan in Hungary who is making all of us proud. APBF chairman Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi also appreciated the efforts of Excellency Aejaz and said that he himself also intends to create a great liaison between APBF with Brampton Board of Trade. It’ll help APBF members as well as other business community to start trade with Canadian business community. APBF Lahore Board President Mr. Amir Munir Malik said that due to covid 19, we were unable to conduct trainings & conferences but now APBF is ready to take the initiatives on such kind of activities. In this regard, a committee will be reformed in coming days.
Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi concluded the meeting by saying that APBF is a voice of the business community and even in past APBF has taken several initiatives to resolve issues of business community and will be present to assist or initiate any project through this platform, we’ll always be here to help business community to increase bilateral trade with other countries because together we’ll make a difference. Meeting ended with words of thanks to Mr. Wasim Zakaria CEO Inter-connect (Pvt) Ltd for his great hospitality and scrumptious dinner.
