APBF Board Meeting

All Pakistan Business Forum held its National and Lahore board meeting on Zoom.
Secretary-General Mr. Khuram Niaz welcomed the members and started meeting.
APBF President Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood gave the brief update on APBF’s recent meetings with H.E. Usman Dar – Special Advisor to PM on youth affairs, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Mr. Qasim Khan Suri, Ambassador of Pakistan to Hungary H.E. Mohemmed Eajaz, and Ambassador of Hungary to Pakistan H.E. Bela Fazekas. APBF, HEPA, and Embassy of Pakistan in Hungary worked closely to establish a Pak-Hung Business Window. It’ll help the business community of both countries to increase the interaction, business activities, and bilateral trade.
APBF facilitated TEVTA and BOMSIE to establish a Technical Institute in SUNDAR Industrial Estate. It will give training to the Industry demanding workforce that put a positive part in the economy of Pakistan. The APBF activity calendar for the year 2021 was also discussed and members put their positive input in it.
Challenges of COVID-19 were discussed with different remedies to support the business community by Government and it was planned to write proposals to competent authorities.
The meeting was attended by APBF Lahore Board President Mr. Amir Munir Malik, National Board Members Mr. Haroon Ali Khan, Mr. Amir Ata Barry, Mr. Naeem, and Lahore Board Member Dr. Saman Yazdani Khan. Meeting ended with a word of thanks to all esteemed APBF members.
