APBF signed an MoU with Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) to exploit huge trade potential

MoU between the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) and All Pakistan Business Forum (APBF) was inked by Mr. Balázs Hendrich – CEO HEPA and Mr. Syed Maaz Mahmood – President All Pakistan Business Forum.

Excellency István Szabó Ambassador of Hungary appreciated the efforts of APBF to increase bilateral trade and joint ventures between Business community of Pakistan with Hungary. H. E. said that the serious, diligent and result oriented work of APBF convinced him to get Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) engage with APBF to bring the business communities of the two countries closer to increase bilateral trade through regular interaction, delegation, presence at exhibitions and right match making. Ceremony was witnessed by H.E. István Szabó – Ambassador of Hungary to Pakistan, Mr. Tivadar Takács – Deputy Head of Mission of Embassy of Hungary in Pakistan, Dr. István Grafjódi, Commercial Counsellor Embassy of Hungary in Pakistan, Mr. Zsigmond Fülöp – Expert of HEPA, Mr. Khurram Niaz Khan – Secretary General APBF, Mr. Amir Munir – President APBF Lahore Board, Mr. Amir Barry – National Board Member of APBF

APBF and HEPA, agreed to assist each other in working by facilitating:

– For identifying collectively the most attractive industries;

– To promote and enhance the industrial cooperation between the two countries;

– To monitor investment relations and to identify opportunities for expanding investments for promoting joint venture projects;

– For exchanging publicly available information on economic policies, business environment and development priorities;

– For making information available about professional forums organized by each of the Parties and to ensure participation there in if requested;

– For organizing seminars, trade fairs, exhibitions and other promotion activities for strengthening the exchanges and cooperation, which will be subject to additional agreement;

– For supporting the establishment of broader contacts between the business entities, encouraging mutual visits, meetings, business forums and other interactions;

– For promoting and encouraging mutual investment activities by public and private enterprises.

– Any mutual benefits of both countries

President APBF paid tribute and bid farewell to H. E. Istvan Szabó being Ambassador of Hungary in Pakistan for 8 years and made an excellent perception of Pakistan in Hungary. Further through his utmost sincere efforts strengthen the ties and increased interaction between the two countries at all levels. President Maaz Mahmood said that Pakistan and it’s people will remember the generous and kind personality of H. E. Istvan as a good friend of Pakistan. President APBF wished H. E. Istvan health and happiness for his future assignments.
